There seems to be no elegant way of transferring a picture you see in Picasa into an OpenOffice document.
This tutorial shows a quick, but not very intuitive, way of doing just that. It’s worth remembering as it’s very simple to do. This example shows OpenOffice Draw, but same will apply to OpenOffice Writer documents too, and probably any application which opens a file dialog to insert a picture.
In this tutorial we look at saving a picture attachment, and a word document attachment. We also cover moving files between folders using drag and drop.
