Introduction to GMail

Here’s a little introduction to using gmail through the web interface (“webmail”).

1.3 Picasa to OpenOffice

There seems to be no elegant way of transferring a picture you see in Picasa into an OpenOffice document.

This tutorial shows a quick, but not very intuitive, way of doing just that. It’s worth remembering as it’s very simple to do. This example shows OpenOffice Draw, but same will apply to OpenOffice Writer documents too, and probably any application which opens a file dialog to insert a picture.
